Reillanne is situated in the 'Parc Naturel du Luberon'. A national parc famous for its peacefulness and natural beauty, offering extensive hiking possibilities. In half an hour by car you reach the Montagne de Lure, which is also a wonderful hiking area.
Apt, Forcalquier and Manosque, known for their beautiful Provençal markets are 15 to 20 km away.
In Isle sur le Sorgue, one hour by car, the famous antiques and curiosity markets take place. | |
 | The ocher mines of Roussillon and the famous Gorges du Verdon are in the neighbourhood, as well as historico-cultural towns like Aix-en-Provence, Arles and Avignon (one hour by car).
For sun-worshippers there are the lakes of the Verdon, the Lac de St. Croix, the beach at Martigues or the small lake near Manosque. |
Also beautiful are the Calangues near Cassis, the old harbour of Marseille, the Lavender-route with a visit to a lavender distillery and the Wine-routes through the famous vineyards of the Luberon with a visit to a château or a wine bar.
